General
A desktop application that packages your ETS2 and ATS mods
into a protected archive that loads normally in-game while
making casual extraction and repackaging with third-party
tools significantly more difficult.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are both
supported. Because they use the same SCS archive formats,
Locker works the same way with both games.
No. Locker is designed to preserve normal in-game behaviour.
Before a protected archive is produced, the built-in
Verify feature checks that it meets the
same loading requirements used by the game.
No. Building and verification take place entirely on your
own machine. The only network activity is licence
validation and update checks. Your mod files are never
uploaded.
Licensing
Each licence is a signed file tied to a unique fingerprint
generated for your machine. On first launch, Locker
displays this fingerprint. Send it to us, then load the
.lic file we send back.
Your licence is tied to the machine it was issued for. If
you move to a new PC, generate a new fingerprint and
request a replacement licence using the same process as
before.
Most updates do not affect your licence. If a major release
ever requires licences to be reissued, Locker will tell you
before you update and display your new fingerprint so a
replacement licence can be issued.
Updates & support
Locker automatically checks for updates when it starts.
Before an update is installed, its release signature is
verified. If the verification fails, the update is not
installed.
Yes. Windows SmartScreen may display a warning for newer or
less widely distributed applications while they build up
reputation. This is based on SmartScreen's reputation
system and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the
application.
Use the contact page and include
a description of the issue, your app version, and, if
relevant, the diagnostic package from the Licence Info
screen. This helps us resolve problems more quickly.
